1st day
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Please inform us about your flight details ( airline, flight number, arrival time). You will meet our representative who will bring you to your hotel. Please pay attention to a sign with your name or the name of our company on it.
2nd day
Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will meet your private guide (English speaking Egyptologist) in the hotel. He will take you to Giza to visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Moreover you will have time today to experience the breathtaking variety of ancient Egypt at the Egyptian Museum. After completing your sightseeing tour, our representative will take you to the trainstation where you will take the 1st class sleeping train (half board) to Aswan.
3rd day
Breakfast on board of the train. After arriving at the trainstation in Aswan our representative will take you to your Nile cruise (full board). Today you will visit the High Dam and the Philae Temple. After enjoying your dinner on board you will sail to Kom Ombo (Kom Ombo Temple) and Edfu. First night on board.
4th day
Breakfast on board. Today you will visit the Horus Temple in Edfu. It is one of the best preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after Karnak. According to ancient Egyptian mythology the temple was built on the battlefield of Horus and Seth. After enjoying lunch at your ship you will sail to Esna and Luxor. Dinner and night on board.
5th day
Breakfast on board. Today you will visit the Valley of the Kings and the El Deir El Bahari Temple (built by queen Hatschepsut). Due to its design and decorations this temple is one of the most characteristic for Egypt. It was not like most of the funerary temples built of sand- but of limestone. Moreover you will visit the Colossus of Memnon which was mistakenly named by the Greeks. After having lunch on board you can enjoy your leisure time. Dinner and night on board.
6th day
Disembarkation after Breakfast. Today you will have leisure time. Optionally you could do the following. Meet your private guide (English speaking Egyptologist) and visit the East Bank of Luxor (Luxor and Karnak Temple). Our representative will now take you to the train station where you will take the sleeping train back to Cairo. Dinner on board.
7th day
Breakfast on board of the train. After Check-Out our representative will bring you to Cairo International Airport. Please inform us about your flight details (airline, flight number, departure time).
