Day 1
From the arrival port drive through the fascinating Egyptian countryside towards the elite residential area of Heliopolis to reach Tahrir (Liberty) Square, the down town heart of the city. Here you will visit the famous National Archaeological Museum, housing the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world, including the magnificent treasures of the boy King, Tutankhamun.
Night entertainments
(Optional) You will attend the English Version of the Sound and Light Show. The magnificent history and achievements of the ancient Egyptians come to life as the illuminated Pyramids and the impressive mysterious Sphinx dominate the surrounding darkness, check in into you hotel
(Optional) Nile river dinner Cruise. These cruises are known to offer one of the most luxurious dinner cruises on the Nile with the best service. The food and the entertainment (belly dancers, twirling dervishes and singers) are known to be excellent. This is a dinner option for the tour and costs
Shopping in a Government-approved store: In this store on three levels you will be able to shop to your heart's content. On the lower level you will find a wide selection of papyrus, on the main level is a beautiful selection of gold and precious jewelry, and on the upper level you will find a varied selection of typical Egyptian craftsmanship and souvenirs (kaftans, inlaid boxes, water pipes, amber jewelry, etc. etc. etc.). You will also have the opportunity to order a "cartouche" with your name written in hieroglyphics, Limited time for souvenir shopping will be allowed
Day 2
You arrive to the Plateau of Giza. The only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids and their mysterious guardian, the Sphinx, stand defying the passage of time and men. A drive to the Western Plateau will afford panoramic views of the Pyramids and a short photo stop will take place before your coach brings you near the Great Pyramid of Chephren where free time will be allocated. Continue down the valley to visit the mighty Sphinx with its adjoining Mortuary Temple made of alabaster. Lunch will be served before you arrive to skkara . Your tour continues through a beautiful countryside arriving at Sakkara, the oldest ancient Egyptian cemetery, built on a desert plateau. Marvel at the famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser built by the engineer Imhotep. It is the first monumental stone built structure in the world. The Pyramid is composed of six receding terraces, one on top of each other. Start driving back to return to the departure port

All photography is totally prohibited inside the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and inside the Pyramids of Giza. However, photography is allowed and free of charge in the open area at the Pyramids of Giza & Sakkara In the sound and light show it is free but video camera with 7 us$
Package price based on the number of guests
Local vendors may offer passengers the chance to be photographed on a camel or to take a camel ride at the scenic overlook. This is not part of the excursion package & not recommended
