ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrive Cairo International Airport
Meet & assist by Go Egypt Travel representative at Cairo International Airport- Transfer via air-conditioned modern van to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 – Giza Pyramids – Memphis - Saqqara
Breakfast at hotel- Enjoy an excursion to visit Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple- Proceed to visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Lower Egypt since its inception until about 2200 BC and it was the administrative center for along the ancient history- Then to the Step Pyramid in Saqqara- Back to hotel. Overnight in Cairo
Day 3 - Baharyia Oasis
Breakfast at hotel- Drive via air-conditioned modern van to Baharyia Oasis- Enjoy an excursion to visit Temple of Ein El Muftella, a roman water spring, Tomb of Bannnantiu, Temple of Alexander the Great & the Golden Mummies in the Museum of Baharyia- Transfer by Jeep 4x4 to the White desert. Overnight in a camp in the White desert.
Day 4 - Crystal Mountain - Valley of Agabat - Valley of El Heize
Breakfast at the Camp- Enjoy an excursion to visit the Crystal Mountain (Jabal al-Izaz) and the Desert Roses, the Volcanic Rocks & the Valley of Agabat- Then transfer to the Black Desert, where you visit the Valley of El Heize. Overnight in a Camp in the desert.
Day 5 - Farafra Oasis - Dakhla Oasis
Breakfast at the Camp- Transfer to Farafra Oasis- Enjoy an excursion to visit Badr Museum which has a local art- Transfer to Dakhla Oasis. Overnight in Dakhla.
Day 6 - Mozawqa tombs - Deir el Hagar - El Nadora Temple
Breakfast- Enjoy an excursion to visit El Mozawqa tombs, Deir el Hagar & the old Islamic village "El Qasr"- Transfer to Kharga Oasis- Enjoy an excursion to visit el Bagawat cemeteries, Hibis temple & el Nadora temple. Overnight in a camp in Kharga.
Day 7 - Luxor
Breakfast at the camp- Transfer via air-conditioned modern van to Luxor- transfer to hotel. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 8 - Karnak & Luxor Temples
Breakfast at hotel- Enjoy an excursion to visit Karnak temple, the ancient Egyptian "Ipet-Isut", the largest ancient religious site in the world- Proceed to visit Luxor temple, the ancient Egyptian "Ipet Resyt", dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut and Chons- Transfer to Luxor Train Station for departure to Cairo by sleeper train. Dinner & Overnight in the sleeper train.
Day 9 - Optional
Arrive at Giza Train Station- Meet & assist- Transfer to hotel- Optional to visit Alexandria, including visit to Cata Comp, Pompeii's Pillar, Alexandria library, El Montazah Palace and Kaitbay Citadel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 10 - Final Departure
Breakfast at hotel- Transfer via air-conditioned modern van to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
